Pastor Scott Sharpes
November 1998 to present

Pastor Scott moved here from pastoring in the North Florida District, where he had pastored for 9 years. He found the Lord as a young boy at Boys and Girls camp. Growing up, he felt a call to preach while as a young teen, but dismissed it as a young boy's dream of following in his father's footsteps. While attending a revival at MVNU, the call was settled.

Pastor Scott traveled for the General Church on Youth In Mission, and found his wife Wendy, who happened to be on the same ministry team. Scott is a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University, and Nazarene Theological Seminary. He was ordained in May of 1992 and has served in ministry and pastored in Ohio, Florida, and now in Kansas. He and his wife have two daughters.
